Wandas was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. T. Trieger of Tortenheber took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 34 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. After 38 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for C. Pezzetta who increased Tortenheber's lead to 0 - 5. The home crowd was not impressed when S. Corveddu came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 40 minutes. Tortenheber were now up 0 - 6. After 42 minutes, Tortenheber's T. Trieger fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! 0 - 6 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Tortenheber, who controlled the ball 76 percent of the time.

With 52 minutes played, Tortenheber's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to A. Efferen he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 7. It was a bad day for the usually speedy T. Oberarzbacher. The mud seemed to slow him down. Tortenheber increased their lead after 75 minutes when A. Efferen broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for A. Efferen. Given a free kick close to the byline, Tortenheber tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let R. Schiessler slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 9, 85 minutes into the game. With 87 minutes played, Tortenheber put themselves up 0 - 10 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. Efferen. 87 minutes in, Stören's M. Bäumle received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Tortenheber's C. Pezzetta had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 88 minutes having been played. B. Kaldewei was the replacement. After 89 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed H. Hanauer to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 11.
