(384316755)

30-06-2012 18.00
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Dresden Arena saw a crowd turnout of 33681.
Denny Hulsker was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Traianos Paramythis and
Harley Mcconnell.
Dresden had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
They fielded: Kalnein - Kölbis, Schmücker, Edelmueller - Saiko, Olbort, Küter, Erlenkamp, Obur - Brasser, Gerlingen.
Alemania decided to use a 5-4-1 set up.
Starters: Sobków - Empfang, Dürrmüller, Ciga, Casagrande, Siti - Pronebner, Baudrier, Theiszl, Pintimalli - Migneot.
Alemania mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
Dresden broke through on the left 13 minutes into the game, with
R. Schmücker firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead.
18 minutes in, Alemania appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
poor.
Dresden put themselves up 2 - 0 when
L. Gerlingen broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
Dresden's
P. Brasser increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 30 minutes.
After this, you could see that the players of Dresden were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
38 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
P. Brasser broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Dresden.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Dresden to 5 - 0 as
P. Brasser finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
That made three goals for
P. Brasser and he was marked down for the hat trick.
5 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Dresden had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.
Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Alemania was able to get his message across, and raised Alemania's organisation to
passable.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
G. Saiko squirmed through their central defence after 47 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
After 50 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Alemania found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
poor.
With 61 minutes played, Dresden put themselves up 7 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
R. Edelmueller, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
After 63 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
G. Saiko gave the Dresden supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 8 - 0.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Dresden scored another to make it 9 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
U. Obur after 67 minutes.
Dresden increased the lead as
U. Obur struck to make the score 10 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Dresden claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 85 percent.
Dresden's top performer was clearly
L. Gerlingen.
However,
W. Kölbis made a disastrous appearance.
Alemania's best player was
W. Migneot.
C. Empfang on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 10 - 0.
