M. Paradiso came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Blindpumpe the lead.
Blindpumpe solidified their lead at the 21 minute mark, as
M. Almeida dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Blindpumpe lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
T. Imp had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper
H. Bedoya was simply unbeatable.
The crowd roared its approval when
H. Bedoya somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Mittelschwaben's
T. Plönitz 30 minutes into the game.
R. Semrau's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert
J. Drobilitsch was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Mittelschwaben. 2 - 1.
Halftime score was 2 - 1.
Blindpumpe had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Mittelschwaben's
T. Plönitz was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 60 minutes.
M. Latte was given a chance to change things around.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Blindpumpe's
M. Paradiso increasing the lead to 3 - 1.
With 75 minutes played, the Mittelschwaben coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
S. Eisenhofer came on,
U. Aublick had to leave the fray.
Blindpumpe enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.
M. Paradiso performed admirably for Blindpumpe.
A. Żbik on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important Mittelschwaben player was
J. Drobilitsch.
On the other hand,
R. Spörke's play was disheartening.
