Clear skies welcomed the 16647 spectators who had made their way to Bulldogs on the prowl Arena. Lars Einkemmer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Manu Vikman and Kim Arntsen. Bulldogs started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Molteni - San, Urban, Wagnefeldt - Legros, Nappias, Eltag, Straubhaar - Ånghult, Thevenot, Schmuck.

After 11 minutes, S. Schmuck came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Bulldogs the lead. 15 minutes into the game, P. Legros had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came J. van Dorpel. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 20 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but F. Molteni got the best of it, blocking the shot from M. Paradiso. After 25 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and S. Schmuck gave the Bulldogs supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. 30 minutes into the match M. Urban put Bulldogs ahead 3 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. 33 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as K. Thevenot broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Bulldogs. Blindpumpe managed to reduce the score to 4 - 1 as M. Paradiso finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the defence. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 1. Bulldogs enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

S. Schmuck was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Bulldogs's defence 61 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 5 - 1. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for S. Schmuck. By now, the players in Bulldogs felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Bulldogs's K. Thevenot got himself booked for a foul. Bulldogs's M. Ånghult swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; M. Laut made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 5 - 2 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes in, Bulldogs's M. Urban received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. K. Thevenot could have put Bulldogs up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 76 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Laut from Blindpumpe a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 87 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A loud groan was heard from the fans of Bulldogs, as S. Schmuck left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. L. Păucean took his place on the field. 89 minutes into the game, Blindpumpe's attack got through on the right, but M. Paradiso couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. Possession in this half belonged to Blindpumpe, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The most dominating Bulldogs player was without a doubt K. Thevenot. J. van Dorpel was a disappointment, however. M. Paradiso performed admirably for Blindpumpe. However, H. Leidorfer made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 2.
