Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Bulldogs on the prowl Arena saw a crowd turnout of 18948. Bulldogs solidified their lead at the 42 minute mark, as S. Wagnefeldt dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. The players of Bulldogs now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Coming from the right, P. Legros almost managed to score another goal for Bulldogs, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Bulldogs's N. Eltag had an excellent opportunity after 43 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Bulldogs, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

After 59 minutes, Bulldogs were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. S. Schmuck did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. G. Dederbeck left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. van Dorpel was the replacement. Bastin refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 81 minutes. Bulldogs's L. Păucean saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 84 minutes. 86 minutes in, Bulldogs's P. Legros received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Bulldogs claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

Most important Bulldogs player was S. Schmuck. On the other hand, J. van Dorpel's play was disheartening. Scharrel/City's top performer was clearly J. Hanon. N. Hebrtshausen turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
