Siepka came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. Jörgidictus's E. Tayanç was shown a yellow card after 15 minutes for slicing down an opponent. With 31 minutes played, Holstein put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was B. Tavares. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Borovniak from Holstein a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 32 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 34 minutes, Jörgidictus's K. Leeb fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Holstein increased their lead after 35 minutes when P. Drelon broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. By now, the players in Holstein felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper S. Halilić and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Jörgidictus, but V. Morkes's finish was way too lame. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Jörgidictus claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

A marvellous Jörgidictus effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 50 minutes by K. Dworzak, making the score 1 - 3. The sunny day didn't make things easy for K. Leeb who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch. Jörgidictus had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

T. Lucke performed admirably for Jörgidictus. I. Cid turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Holstein player was B. Ham. S. Halilić on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.
