Dark skies made the crowd of 26300 at
Campus Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Gizur Kortsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Tzoori Avidan and
Jan-Philip Fuchs von Grünfeld.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Flensburg.

M. Bastigkeit alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post.
With 65 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending.

F. Valenzuela Zayas's speed was clear to see after 81 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released
R. Granjo who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1 - 3.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
R. Granjo.
The players of BH now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
After 84 minutes,
D. Wardęga had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Flensburg with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar.
Flensburg had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.
The most dominating Flensburg player was without a doubt
S. Moosbauer.
S. Noya was a disappointment, however.
L. Boess performed admirably for BH.
On the other hand,
D. Garcia's play was disheartening.
