It had rained all day, but 24539 hardy fans still made it out to Lillis-Bökelberg. Oliver Sinhuber was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Lautaro Botello and Rafael Arcos. Lillisdream tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Mutandari - Marxmüller, Churruchano, Tarczyński - Taavila, Luschendorf, van der Toorn, Plater, Furač - Koelker, Grimmius.

Kanonenschlag decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Forster - Ledoux, Grimmius, Jahren - Panke, Gulisano, Bonci, Vinals, Morales Duran - Vostřel, Payrhuber.

The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to J. Grimmius, but the Lillisdream player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Lillisdream solidified their lead at the 21 minute mark, as R. van der Toorn dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but S. Furač showed great heart and had a good game. J. Vostřel finished off the counterattack of Kanonenschlag from the left rather easily, making the score 2 - 1. M. Luschendorf had a fantastic opportunity to put Lillisdream up another goal 37 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. With 38 minutes played, Lillisdream put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Grimmius, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After this, you could see that the players of Lillisdream were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Lillisdream enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

The Lillisdream players could smell victory in the air. U. Koelker wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for R. Burgstaller-Bodingba after 60 minutes. Lillisdream's T. Tarczyński saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 67 minutes. R. Panke of Kanonenschlag received a yellow card after 73 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. J. Grimmius could have increased the lead after 81 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Kanonenschlag's J. Vostřel got himself booked for a foul. Unfortunately for Lillisdream, J. Grimmius was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. F. Sammartano replaced him. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, T. Tarczyński took over the role of being the Lillisdream captain. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Lillisdream, with 63 percent of the ball.

Lillisdream's best player was M. Luschendorf. F. Sammartano turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Kanonenschlag player was without a doubt J. Vostřel. P. Grimmius was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
