12181 spectators had come to
Luder Area this cloudy day.

Boxenluder tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination.
Starters: Reetz - Lewstedt, Šalinović - Viktorin, Flieder, Schum, Fürfelder, Kügerl - Tietze, Schrimpff, Wilmer.
Players had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation.

D. Crnojević took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 27 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Players.
After 28 minutes, Players sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached

Halftime score was 0 - 3.
Players had most of the ball, with 75 percent of possession.
With 51 minutes played, Players put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was

T. Beier of Players to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5.

A. Bartkowiak after 69 minutes following a nasty collision.
The home keeper was stunned 70 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by
T. Beier and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 6.
After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
D. Blanco who increased Players's lead to 0 - 7.
After 79 minutes, Boxenluder's
D. Schum fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit!
Players increased their lead after 80 minutes when
E. Schacherl broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay.
83 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 9 as
T. Beier finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
At that,
T. Beier was noted down for a hat trick!
Possession in this half belonged to Players, who controlled the ball 75 percent of the time.
B. Viktorin performed admirably for Boxenluder.
M. Reetz on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Players's top performer was clearly
