At this point, it was obvious that the players of Players lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 67 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed T. Beier of Players to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5. E. Schacherl was called on to replace Players's A. Bartkowiak after 69 minutes following a nasty collision. The home keeper was stunned 70 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by T. Beier and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 6. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for D. Blanco who increased Players's lead to 0 - 7. Beier finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At that, T. Beier was noted down for a hat trick! Possession in this half belonged to Players, who controlled the ball 75 percent of the time.

B. Viktorin performed admirably for Boxenluder. M. Reetz on the other hand, had a terrible day. Players's top performer was clearly D. Blanco. T. Beier was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 9.
