Clear skies welcomed the 20200 spectators who had made their way to SKYVISION Arena. Fryderyk Kasprowicz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Virgil Istrate and Axel Tapie. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for SKYVISION. The following players took the field: Fédèle - Sala, Irrera, Reinwald - Ben Dhifallah, Bolonha, Sitter, Buduru, Delios - Rappaport, Burgmayr.

TINCITY had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. They fielded: Bail - Fiebich, Babári, Hesse - Kamola, Oriol Fabra, Teubel, Caçapava - Testamantti, Meyer, Kann.

SKYVISION clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. C. Testamantti came close to putting the visiting team one up 3 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but F. Fédèle managed to tip the ball to a corner. The counterattack by SKYVISION resulted in a free kick that T. Rappaport bent under the crossbar - 1 - 0! F. Sala was called on to replace SKYVISION's N. Reinwald after 8 minutes following a nasty collision. TINCITY levelled the score after 16 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as J. Oriol Fabra struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. L. Teubel had a good try after 25 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. After 26 minutes, a long pass from TINCITY's N. Caçapava caught the defence out of position. C. Testamantti collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 1 - 2. After 28 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed C. Meyer to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3. The players of TINCITY now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. TINCITY's B. Kamola made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 29 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by TINCITY, with 59 percent of the ball.

A penalty was awarded after 60 minutes, and B. Kamola made the most of his chance to put TINCITY up by another goal. 1 - 4 for the visitors. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, C. Meyer would have put TINCITY up another goal 74 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. G. Burgmayr of SKYVISION received a yellow card after 83 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With 88 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed K. Kann of TINCITY to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 5. TINCITY had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The most dominating SKYVISION player was without a doubt G. Burgmayr. However, F. Sala made a disastrous appearance. TINCITY's best player was J. Oriol Fabra. On the other hand, C. Meyer's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 5.
