B&C took the lead after 2 minutes as a result of T. Morena's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. C. Jakobs's lack of experience almost gave B&C a goal after 4 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. The referee showed B&C's K. Shahbazi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 14 minutes into the game, Y. Karadeniz had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came O. Innola. The visiting team's X. Muñoz was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 20 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Enciu from B&C a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 21 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! In a fantastic display of determination, Wassenberg's B. Eich forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. When K. Shahbazi made yet another studs-first tackle after 23 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the B&C player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. B&C enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Wassenberg's L. Kockelmans got himself booked for a foul. 69 minutes into the match and the home team took a 2 - 1 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for B&C was O. Innola. Ś. Marchewa could have put B&C up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 72 minutes. B&C's Ś. Marchewa was shown a yellow card after 75 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Possession in this half belonged to B&C, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

M. Enciu performed admirably for B&C. O. Innola turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Wassenberg player was X. Muñoz. On the other hand, A. Magonara's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 1.
