But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. M. Carlsson wanted to play on, but the Supergaupleite coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 68 minutes into the game by Q. Duminy. 68 minutes into the game a free kick by M. La Porta Garcia, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for DeLaCruzmenia. DeLaCruzmenia supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to A. Mullol who reduced the visitors' lead after 74 minutes to 2 - 4. A. Labrot left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 78 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. R. Koole was the replacement. The Supergaupleite players could smell victory in the air. M. Söderblom wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for G. Calvi after 80 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Supergaupleite, with 51 percent of the ball.
