Hessen started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Brodersen - de la Hera, Reinirkens, Bourega - Frontaurea, Hauzenreder, Balleis, Stapfer, Cosson - Réamur, Joksch.

With 28 minutes played
E. de la Hera almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
Bramstedt-Allstars's
B. Freire was shown a yellow card after 31 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
A loud groan was heard from the fans of Hessen, as
P. Réamur left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match.
A. Kalocsay took his place on the field.
B. Balleis caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 39 minutes. This gave Hessen the 1 - 0 lead.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
M. Vandenbergen got himself booked. The manager of Bramstedt-Allstars was not happy.
B. Balleis could have increased the lead after 42 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0.
Hessen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Hessen scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
F. Stapfer after 47 minutes.
M. Vandenbergen knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the Bramstedt-Allstars player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game.
Hessen's
G. Reinirkens saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 74 minutes.

G. Reinirkens struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
E. de la Hera squirmed through their central defence after 83 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0.
The players of Hessen now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.

Hessen's top performer was clearly
P. Joksch.
E. de la Hera was a disappointment, however.
