With 22 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of CC resulted in a counterattack that set L. Lipmanis free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. Good work by the CC defensive line after 24 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found L. Lipmanis alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. The corner kick from M. Reviglione was powerfully met by the head of S. Maksimonis to make the score 2 - 1. 37 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by M. Scholze from M. Reviglione's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for CC, making the score 2 - 2. The guests almost went up by a goal after 38 minutes when T. Achim came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. Halftime score was 2 - 2. Provinzidioten enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

With the clock showing 55 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of CC resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by L. Lipmanis in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 66 minutes allowed S. Maksimonis to score for CC. The scoreboard now read 2 - 3. Content with how the game was proceeding, the CC coach let E. Heikkilä replace T. Achim after 70 minutes. After 73 minutes Provinzidioten's A. Cieliński contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. The CC players could smell victory in the air. A. Wilmer wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. Borghult after 75 minutes. M. Lang-Nielsen became the new CC captain. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Provinzidioten, with 65 percent of the ball.

Provinzidioten's best player was W. Renvers. On the other hand, A. Soroczyński's play was disheartening. Most important CC player was M. Scholze. B. Größ turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
