It was 1 - 1 at the break. Amazonicos had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

One of many good crosses from G. van de Ruit on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by F. Isenring, who scored for Amazonicos. 2 - 1 H. Weichselbaumer made a spectacular save. Cheers filled the stadium as M. Hofer broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 1 to Amazonicos. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Dezamics from Weimar a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 81 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Unfortunately for Amazonicos, G. Jūliņš was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. W. Berlepsch replaced him. Possession in this half belonged to Amazonicos, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.
