wilde 4 - 0 RW-Mülheim
(384408876)

30-06-2012 18.30
27205 spectators arrived at
Atmo Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Jared Jardine was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Geert Verstraten and
Leonhard Schranz.
wilde started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Andrýsek - Hierling, Wilson, Molhoek - Courinha, Beldam, Metta, Vieira Marques, Walsh - Başardı, Casaprín.
RW-Mülheim tactics involved an interesting 4-3-3 combination.
Lineup: Johansen - Steinmeyer, Samper, Håkansson, Cebekhului - Alber, Kaehne, Maestre Osorio - Rongen, Ståhl, Houlbert.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of RW-Mülheim.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 6 minute mark, wilde's
A. Casaprín hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
Making his way up the middle 20 minutes into the match,
M. Walsh almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
B. Johansen blocked it to keep the score level.
After 22 minutes,
K. Beldam came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving wilde the lead.
wilde's
K. Beldam increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 24 minutes.
The referee showed RW-Mülheim's
R. Samper the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
wilde's
E. Courinha swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball.
Halftime score was 2 - 0.
wilde enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.
60 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
A. Vieira Marques broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for wilde.
wilde's
K. Beldam was shown a yellow card after 66 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
M. Walsh had a fantastic opportunity to put wilde up another goal 73 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
With 76 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
F. Maestre Osorio needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
The home side's
A. Casaprín came close to extending the lead 81 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
B. Johansen managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.
Cheers filled the stadium as
M. Walsh broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to wilde.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of wilde lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
wilde claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.
wilde's top performer was clearly
E. Başardı.
E. Courinha was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating RW-Mülheim player was without a doubt
C. Ståhl.
P. Steinmeyer turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 4 - 0.
