With 29 minutes played, Schnitte put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was J. Pongratz. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Schnitte, with 77 percent of the ball.

After 59 minutes, Schnitte's H. Boisson swiftly ran past J. Martens and nutmegged the keeper! 0 - 3. By now, the players in Schnitte felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. With 68 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed J. Justinavičius of Schnitte to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 4. Some fine movement on the left led to a Schnitte goal after 71 minutes, making it 0 - 5. H. Wuwer was noted down as the scorer. The home crowd was not impressed when J. Lelieveld came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 76 minutes. Schnitte were now up 0 - 6. 80 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 7 as J. Marcel finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Schnitte had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

FCG's best player was M. von der Goltz. J. Martens was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Schnitte player was without a doubt J. Marcel. On the other hand, T. Shachar's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 7.
