Reiß made the save. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, K-Town's T. Hoffmann-Stark was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 61 minutes. M. Ienco was given a chance to change things around. K-Town needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 74 minutes H. Stopfer made way for M. Grömling. Benefelder's R. Påske placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but F. Rohrbach couldn't finish. The referee signalled a penalty 75 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. S. Szynaka knocked it home to make the score 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, Benefelder's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. S. Szynaka could have put his team up another goal 76 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. After 78 minutes, Benefelder's M. Muhterem fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! After 79 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed F. Munteanu to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. K. Sanberk wanted to play on, but the Benefelder coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by T. Lingenfelser. The coach of Benefelder was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 82 minutes, L. Maas came on for F. Munteanu. Benefelder were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. A drive down the left side allowed M. Cardia to get in close and score another goal for Benefelder after 84 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5. Benefelder claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

K-Town's best player was V. Presta. R. Małysa was a disappointment, however. J. Allegretti performed admirably for Benefelder. M. Muhterem turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
