Klautern had to make a substitution after 69 minutes. E. Zaharia limped off the field and was replaced by K. Finckenberg. Siegertypen's A. van As got himself booked for a foul. P. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. With the clock showing 84 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Klautern resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by S. Effkemann in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. Siegertypen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

Most important Klautern player was K. Rainer. I. Camarguinho on the other hand, had a terrible day. Siegertypen's top performer was clearly G. Vranckx. W. Ardolo was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
