Brandenburger mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 14 minutes, but
M. Lundhstål was unable to convert from short range.
E. Hoopman was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace.

C. Maetze needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.

J. Park flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
N. Palosaari got himself booked. The manager of Brandenburger was not happy.
After 34 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to Brandenburger's
M. Lundhstål being carried off the pitch and replaced by
G. Stoyhe.

Possession in this half belonged to 96-69, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.
The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit
M. Urrila just fine.
After a short break after 50 minutes, 96-69 seemed to change their tactical approach a bit.
Brandenburger's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 51 minutes gone, but
M. Urrila's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper.
After 58 minutes, the defensive line of Brandenburger created a counterattack through the middle that gave
M. Urrila a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.

P. Perandini might have resulted in another goal for 96-69. However,
V. Nitz made a spectacular save.
Brandenburger had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 74 minutes, but
C. Maetze's shot from the left sailed high over the bar.
With 75 minutes played, the Brandenburger coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
A. Pålsson came on,
M. Urrila had to leave the fray.
After 75 minutes, 96-69 were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise.
J. Geuens did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans.

96-69 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.
96-69's top performer was clearly

However,
V. Lalanne made a disastrous appearance.
