Content with how the game was proceeding, the Gummizellekicker coach let G. Garcés replace T. Tanhuansuu after 62 minutes. After 69 minutes, a deliberate handball from Rheinhessen's M. van Eijk was judged to be his second bookable offence, and he was sent off. Rheinhessen's S. Gheorghe was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 71 minutes. J. Johansson could have increased the lead after 71 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Possession in this half belonged to Gummizellekicker, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

F. Seiter performed admirably for Gummizellekicker. G. Giovanbattista turned in a dismal performance, however. Rheinhessen's top performer was clearly S. Doropoulos. J. Decaesstecker on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 0.
