4877 fans braved the pouring rain at Angelhard SC Arena. Francesco Picasso was the appointed referee with assistance provided by David Kennedy and Valdo Calvo. After 14 minutes, Vulcano's E. Geiduschek burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from F. Raunecker after 34 minutes, and prevented Vulcano from going up another goal. D. Pawlikiewicz of Vulcano took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 36 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. By now, the players in Vulcano felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The referee signalled a penalty 38 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. R. Herzog knocked it home to make the score 0 - 4. V. Putkivaara increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Vulcano had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

51 minutes in, Vulcano's R. Herzog received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. T. Månner's speed was clear to see after 74 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released V. Vargas who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1 - 5. R. Herzog could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. 77 minutes into the game, E. Carabalí had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came A. Vanicky. Possession in this half belonged to Vulcano, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

V. Vargas performed admirably for Angelhard. S. Gegentor was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Vulcano player was without a doubt V. Putkivaara. S. Krane turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 5.
