Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 16912 to
Nordpark.
Trond Berg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Andri Leesment and

A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for VFL.

Eiderstedt had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.

M. Di Nardo's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition.
After a fine move down the middle

P. Hedilla was able to backheel the ball in. 5 - 0.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
W. Sassi from Eiderstedt a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 86 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
M. Di Nardo earned a rousing chorus of cheers from his fans as he seemed to come out of nowhere after 87 minutes to intercept the ball and put it in the back of the net for VFL. 6 - 0.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
