By now, the players in Eintracht felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. A penalty was awarded after 43 minutes, and D. Ulivieri made the most of his chance to put Eintracht up by another goal. 0 - 5 for the visitors. This third goal completed a hattrick for D. Ulivieri. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Eintracht had most of the ball, with 79 percent of possession.

With 48 minutes played, Eintracht put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was E. Donius. After 62 minutes Eintracht's M. Kasserini contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. After 63 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed D. Ulivieri to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 7. B. Bauche increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 8. The visitors added to their lead 76 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Eintracht's D. Ulivieri slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 9.
