Cheers filled the stadium as C. Diffrenz broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Hammaburch. Hammaburch made it 5 - 0 as J. Dulière got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to I. Gegentor who whipped a low drive in off the far post. Hammaburch players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. G. Mastrini should probably have put his team up another goal after 65 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by A. Sánchez Jarabo kept the visitors in the game. After 66 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by C. Diffrenz might have resulted in another goal for Hammaburch. However, A. Sánchez Jarabo made a spectacular save. A quick counter attack by Wiesdorfer forced the opponent's defender to give away a freekick. L. Bremgartner was allowed to take it quickly by the referee, much to the dismay of the goalkeeper who wasn't prepared. 5 - 1! Hammaburch had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. The Hammaburch players could smell victory in the air. J. Dulière wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for G. Montanarella after 77 minutes. F. Schriber became the new Hammaburch captain. C. Diffrenz wanted to play on, but the Hammaburch coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 83 minutes into the game by J. Zoomers. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Hammaburch, with 76 percent of the ball.

Most important Hammaburch player was N. Leonel. On the other hand, M. Ntoufas's play was disheartening. Wiesdorfer's best player was M. Kargi. H. Remta was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 1.
