Ballermann112 demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. Mittelrot saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Players in Mittelrot heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. The guests almost went up by a goal after 15 minutes when P. Hallbergmoos came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. Ballermann112's opponents know to be wary of D. Pflister's speed, but it made little difference as he flew past the defence 23 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 25 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from R. Kukhtin, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. With 33 minutes played, I. Jäkl of Mittelrot fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The referee showed Ballermann112's P. Anami the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Ballermann112, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

A cross coming in on the right hand side left I. Jäkl alone in front of the goal after 49 minutes but his shot was woeful. The home crowd just couldn't believe it when P. Anami missed a penalty after 52 minutes of the match. With 63 minutes played, P. Hallbergmoos came in from the right and could have evened the score, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by Mittelrot. R. Marenzi could have increased the lead after 71 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. P. Bagniewski of Mittelrot was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Mittelrot enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Ballermann112's top performer was clearly T. Loeliger. P. Papera turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Mittelrot player was without a doubt T. Gkekas. However, L. Triebels made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 0.
