It was obvious that BSGL had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. With 34 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as J. Anglarill flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. With 39 minutes played, BSGL's J. Lück almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Schlüpferstürmer's counterattacks created a good chance for T. Raami on the right after 40 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. 41 minutes in, Schlüpferstürmer appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. BSGL put in a good effort on the right, but F. Sparr saw his volley fly wide of the mark 42 minutes into the game. J. Paulos's lack of experience almost gave BSGL a goal after 44 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. A. Yehudai unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Schlüpferstürmer's B. Richardsson was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 44 minutes. Players in BSGL heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. 44 minutes into the game, Schlüpferstürmer seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. BSGL enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 74 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Schlüpferstürmer get back to a passable organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 46 minutes, Schlüpferstürmer switched M. Svensson with S. Cheers filled the stadium as M. Brandmayer broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to BSGL. A. Yehudai could have put BSGL up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 76 minutes. The BSGL coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 79 minutes into the game. BSGL's F. Sparr increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 79 minutes. By now, the players in BSGL felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. J. Anglarill left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 88 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. P. Kindtorp was the replacement. BSGL claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 77 percent.

Most important BSGL player was M. Brandmayer. P. Kindtorp turned in a dismal performance, however. S. Gülce performed admirably for Schlüpferstürmer. On the other hand, B. Richardsson's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 0.
