Weinfurter had a fantastic opportunity to put Santafu up another goal 9 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 12 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Rohrbach's E. Listerscheid to one side and produced a red card for the player. Santafu put themselves up 2 - 0 when R. Thalauer broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. L. Buhrmann slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. M. Stransky increased the lead for Santafu to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After this, you could see that the players of Santafu were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Speedy L. Buhrmann tried one of his patented rushes 32 minutes into the game, but E. Marburger was just as fast and averted the attack. With 40 minutes played, Santafu put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to R. Glaubrecht, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Santafu, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

A well-executed free kick by E. Marburger after 51 minutes made it 5 - 0 for Santafu. After 72 minutes, Rohrbach's T. Sammüller fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Santafu were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 73 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by E. Marburger. 6 - 0 for the home side. E. Marburger increased Santafu's lead to 7 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for E. Marburger. The referee showed Santafu's S. Holschbach the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. In a fantastic display of determination, Rohrbach's A. Witz forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Santafu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

The most dominating Santafu player was without a doubt M. Stransky. However, D. Schleevogt made a disastrous appearance. Most important Rohrbach player was L. Buhrmann. C. Etzdorf was a disappointment, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
