Stolba ought to have been awarded a penalty 19 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around M. Lieskounig after a determined run through the middle. Marcel's goal to make the score 0 - 1 came via a questionable penalty, but W. Dziadczyk struck it home without a second thought. The referee signalled a penalty 23 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. W. Dziadczyk knocked it home to make the score 0 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by dynamo2009, with 56 percent of the ball.

The home crowd were delighted when H. Stolba scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 1 - 2. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! Had it not been for one of the home defenders, H. Kronabitter would have put Marcel up another goal 60 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The dynamo2009 equaliser came after 67 minutes when R. Noseda floated in a free kick making the score 2 - 2. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to R. The players of dynamo2009 now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. dynamo2009's top performer was clearly G. Distelberger. L. Ruscher turned in a dismal performance, however. L. Jarić performed admirably for Marcel. W. Taubeneck on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 2.
