P E 09 1 - 2 Debaki
(384809084)

21-07-2012 19.00
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 12000 at
Böckchenarena today.
Balin Eisenhuth was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Davide Manelli and
Marius Jaks.
P E 09 tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Karbe - Niedermaier, Elze, Kitrinos, Giesberg - Habsterdick, Voggel, Duchale, Berka - Habernig, Kainbacher.
Debaki decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
Starters: Canstein - Pollmann, Gäcke, Drabich, Bruening - Oppenfeld, Hinck, Hoym, Becher - Gillot, Schmidt-Engelbracht.
P. Elze behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 15 minutes as he gave the ball away to
F. Gillot. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
28 minutes into the match, the visiting Debaki made the score 0 - 1 after
T. Pollmann executed a perfect free kick.
With 30 minutes played, P E 09's
F. Habsterdick found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper.
With 32 minutes having been played, P E 09 scored to make it 1 - 1. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but
A. Habernig was marked down as the scorer.
Halftime score was 1 - 1.
P E 09 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
With 54 minutes played, Debaki's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
H. Hoym he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 2.
Debaki's
H. Hoym made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 56 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line.
P E 09 mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 57 minutes, but
P. Elze was unable to convert from short range.
P E 09's
A. Habernig made a successful breakthrough on the left after 69 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
B. Berka from P E 09 a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 70 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
B. Bart was called on to replace Debaki's
B. Schmidt-Engelbracht after 77 minutes following a nasty collision.
P E 09 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.
Most important P E 09 player was
K. Kainbacher.
On the other hand,
C. Karbe's play was disheartening.
The most dominating Debaki player was without a doubt
F. Gillot.
However,
M. Oppenfeld made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 1 - 2.
