4773 fans braved the pouring rain at Lotto-King-Karl Kampfbahn. Vatroslav Komljenović was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ottmar Anton and Gabrijel Udovič. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Hamburg derby and the crowd was divided evenly. Barmbek decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Lineup: Seulberg - Stallknecht, Sporbert, Mittnacht, Sadun - Grassgeflüster, Winkowski, Nazaruk, Röddingsmarkt - Meneghesso, Kemp.

Tactic tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Starters: Uludüz - Egelsbach, Santa, Bogenbauer, Blasi - Shustrov, Terlinden, Schrobenhausen, Pitzer - Pex, Girsewald.

It was a bad day for the usually speedy M. Röddingsmarkt. The mud seemed to slow him down. With 8 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as O. Sadun flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. A. Pex made a run for the goal 11 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end. 12 minutes into the game, M. Schrobenhausen had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came J. Kopfsguter. After 17 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by G. Nazaruk might have resulted in another goal for Barmbek. However, M. Uludüz made a spectacular save. After 19 minutes, O. Sadun put Barmbek ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The players of Barmbek now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Barmbek's opponents know to be wary of M. Röddingsmarkt's speed, but it made little difference as he flew past the defence 20 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! R. Grassgeflüster unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. M. Mittnacht could have increased the lead after 27 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Barmbek had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

F. Kemp had a fantastic opportunity to put Barmbek up another goal 63 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Tactic's H. Terlinden had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 73 minutes having been played. J. Hobbersdorf was the replacement. 75 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as R. Grassgeflüster broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Barmbek. A well-executed free kick by W. Stallknecht after 76 minutes made it 4 - 0 for Barmbek. Ater 77 minutes D. Egelsbach seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Tactic making it 4 - 1. Barmbek enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

F. Meneghesso performed admirably for Barmbek. B. Seulberg on the other hand, had a terrible day. Tactic's best player was D. Egelsbach. However, J. Kopfsguter made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 1.
