12000 punters turned up at
Arena der Kiffer, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Renver van Dijken was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ruben de Castellet and
Leopoldo Bottinelli.
Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this
Vaduz derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents.
Sele tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.

Vikings's
E. Helbock left the field after 23 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was

P. Werner slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 2.

After this, you could see that the players of Vikings were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 38 minute mark, Vikings's
A. Marxer hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.

After 51 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
S. Fehr a chance to increase the lead for Vikings, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 6.
The home crowd cheered when, after 55 minutes,
S. Fehr's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day.
After 70 minutes, Vikings's
A. Marxer burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7.
