Wallaces's N. Roy lived up to his reputation for finding unexpected ways to get the ball in the net when he sent a nifty little pass over to G. Giancaspero who finished for 1 - 0 with 82 minutes of the match played. After 86 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Wallaces on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by G. Giancaspero to make it 2 - 0. The players of Wallaces now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. S. Gkonias neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to G. Casòliva who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. Possession in this half belonged to 1. FCD, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

Most important Wallaces player was M. Berber. F. Lagache turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating 1. FCD player was without a doubt A. Marín Pérez. On the other hand, P. Fröse's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 0.
