Doll elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The visitors didn't give in and, after 32 minutes, S. Vinay got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave B. Dubosson from Berserker a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 33 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! K. Olszowski looked great 34 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' O. Rost. The terraces were silenced after 37 minutes when Berserker's B. Dubosson put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Berserker had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

Frick put pressure on the visitors' central defence 58 minutes into the game, but F. Di Iorio couldn't find an opening. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 59 minutes into the match, putting Berserker ahead 1 - 3. R. Meissner was the scorer. Confident in their lead, Berserker's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The referee showed Berserker's S. Vinay the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Frick almost scored after a counterattack 79 minutes into the match, but V. Cordal took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Possession in this half belonged to Berserker, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

Frick's top performer was clearly V. Cordal. However, B. Dusserre made a disastrous appearance. B. Elsig performed admirably for Berserker. O. Rost on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.
