M. Badel's lightning pace was too much for C. Weißenbacher who could only look on as the BÜNZ player blasted one home. 0 - 1. BÜNZ came close to extending their lead as R. Laenen delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 35 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. BÜNZ's M. Badel left the field after 40 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was X. Arensberg. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to BÜNZ, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

The visitors' C. Münchingen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 52 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for BÜNZ. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from C. Münchingen after 54 minutes, and prevented BÜNZ from going up another goal. BÜNZ nearly produced a goal as Y. Indlekofer set up A. Winistörfer for a strike from a seemingly impossible angle. However he put the shot narrowly wide. D. van Sloten challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 70 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. BÜNZ enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

Most important Gala player was D. van Sloten. D. Faes was a disappointment, however. BÜNZ's best player was L. Hametner. On the other hand, V. Safranek's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 2.
