Due to an all-day shower, 20821 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Chiefs Stadium. Pascolo who increased Cashmoney's lead to 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Cashmoney lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Roulet from Kaizer*Chiefs*Unite a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 35 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Cashmoney's G. Zimmerlin went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Cashmoney had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

After 63 minutes, Cashmoney's C. Kędziorny burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. T. Chatton caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately M. Kvietok was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity. M. Kvietok of Kaizer*Chiefs*Unite seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 4 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by G. Hester. 77 minutes into the game, Cashmoney worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Cashmoney, with 54 percent of the ball.

M. Kvietok performed admirably for Kaizer*Chiefs*Unite. However, S. Spengler made a disastrous appearance. Cashmoney's best player was G. Branis. On the other hand, G. Pascolo's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 4.
