Due to an all-day shower, 26168 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Maras Arena. The crowd was on its feet 77 minutes into the match, as Mara ZH's C. Énard found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser. Good work by the Argentino defensive line after 87 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found V. Apeddu alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G. Mititelu got himself booked. The manager of Mara ZH was not happy. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Mara ZH, with 77 percent of the ball.

Mara ZH's best player was G. Torres. On the other hand, H. Rohrmaier's play was disheartening. A. Barras performed admirably for Argentino. E. Braux turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
