The wings were the focus of most of GengisKhan's attacks today. blüämlisalp tried to focus their attacks down the middle. The terraces were silenced after 12 minutes when blüämlisalp's H. Chaperon put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. After 23 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave S. Clavier a chance to increase the lead for blüämlisalp, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. H. The home crowd cheered when, after 65 minutes, E. Navarra's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. H. Chaperon of blüämlisalp was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. R. Maagaard was called on to replace blüämlisalp's R. Berki after 72 minutes following a nasty collision. Players in GengisKhan heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. GengisKhan's V. Michalczuk managed a superb strike from the left after 75 minutes that would have left goalkeeper K. Gröschel without a chance, had it not hit the post. The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when M. Rusu tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. K. Gröschel was too alert for that! Possession in this half belonged to GengisKhan, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

GengisKhan's best player was K. Alpkan. On the other hand, S. Zuppiger's play was disheartening. C. Pinto performed admirably for blüämlisalp. However, K. Gröschel made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 3.
