Sprinters's F. Schultz was shown a yellow card after 42 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The referee showed Republika's C. Tessari the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. R. Avelino of Sprinters had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. C. Mambelli came in to finish the match. L. Elen became the new Sprinters captain. Republika had a good opportunity to take the lead as P. Sorvillo came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of B. Henauer. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Republika enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
