Deckert increased the lead for Baseld4 to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! With 21 minutes played, Baseld4's L. Weyermann almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. A wonderful trick by W. Descloux that left L. Bangerter bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave B. Păltinişan from Psydonia a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 40 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Baseld4 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 58 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving D. Fontquerni completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. The head of L. Bangerter connected with a corner kick after 59 minutes, and the ball ended up with S. Arslan of Psydonia who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 2 - 1. With 60 minutes played, the Psydonia coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. T. Camenzind came on, L. Bangerter had to leave the fray. After 65 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Baseld4 was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Baseld4 to 3 - 1 as A. Meli finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Baseld4's A. Meli saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 75 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Baseld4, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Most important Baseld4 player was L. Weyermann. S. Cornut was a disappointment, however. S. Arslan performed admirably for Psydonia. On the other hand, H. Prinsen's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 1.
