Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 24764 at
Allmend today.
Paweł M. Muchyński was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vladas Stuckis and
Bengt-Åke Carlsson.
A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for FB-SCB.
Starters: Krause - Fuith, Branca - Hasene, Cauvin, Betin, Morreale, Debove - Ulloa, Garrido Leite, Lavrenčiukas.
1fc-defender decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
They fielded: Goos - Paizoni, Pinzenöhler, Bucek, Espregueira - Valenzuela, Bosiger, San Miguel, Grothansen - Quinn, Zúñiga Sotomayor.

Cheers filled the stadium as
F. Garrido Leite broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to FB-SCB.
After 40 minutes, FB-SCB sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
S. Fuith, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 3 - 0.

G. Valenzuela was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 43 minutes.
With 43 minutes played,
J. Bosiger of 1fc-defender fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
3 - 0 was the score after the first half.

FB-SCB put in a good effort on the right, but
A. Cauvin saw his volley fly wide of the mark 65 minutes into the game.
P. Branca increased FB-SCB's lead to 4 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball.
By now, the players in FB-SCB felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
A great save by keeper
V. Goos after 74 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
M. Morreale struck from the left with a real cannonball.
76 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as

FB-SCB enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 80 percent of possession.
M. Morreale performed admirably for FB-SCB.
M. Hasene was a disappointment, however.
Most important 1fc-defender player was
