49 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for ruppen to take the lead after a good cross from the right found I. Ständer alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Banovec got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. 70 minutes into the match and the home team took a 3 - 2 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for ruppen was L. Canelles. This third goal completed a hattrick for L. Canelles. The referee showed ruppen's D. Sene the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
