Today, MORO's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Continental took the lead 3 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as M. Rus had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. S. Esposito increased the lead for Continental to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Confident in their lead, Continental's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Continental claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

MORO reduced the lead after 53 minutes to 3 - 1 as L. Obadă easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. With 55 minutes played, E. Santamarina of Continental fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, S. Törönen was very close to getting through after 57 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. A. Rus left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 65 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Albitre was the replacement. The visitors got one back when C. Westerveld finished off a pass from the left and scored after 67 minutes. 3 - 2 was the score. The crowd was silenced 68 minutes into the match as the visiting team's S. Törönen came in from the left, levelling the score to 3 - 3. The referee showed Continental's S. Esposito the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. O. Pedra was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so MORO's C. Infrangibilis had to come off the bench. B. Pönighaus would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. H. Meuri entered the game for Continental as the match clock showed 80 minutes. H. Meuri gave Continental the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 4 - 3 Continental put themselves up 5 - 3 when H. Meuri broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Continental enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

The most dominating Continental player was without a doubt F. Criscione. However, J. Albitre made a disastrous appearance. Most important MORO player was S. Törönen. C. Infrangibilis turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 3.
