seniors's R. Eich managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 6 minutes. 0 - 1. M. Pritt increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. seniors's E. Fiocchetta was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 24 minutes. With 30 minutes played, seniors put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. George. M. Pritt's tried to storm through the defence after 31 minutes, but G. Butti was just too fast to shake off and the rest of the defence got back to cover. After 32 minutes, W. Hildner sent the corner kick right to E. von Fischer who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 3! P. Hedeboe increased seniors's lead to 1 - 4 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. 40 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 5 as M. Pritt finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. It was 1 - 5 at the break. seniors claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 83 percent.

After 49 minutes, seniors's A. George burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 6. Springboks's W. Hildner was shown a yellow card after 57 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A drive down the left side allowed P. Hedeboe to get in close and score another goal for seniors after 60 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 7. By now, the players in seniors felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The visitors' R. Eich took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 67 minutes into the match. 1 - 8 for seniors. With 70 minutes played, seniors's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to S. Ramos he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 9. L. Kolchofer of seniors took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 71 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 10. seniors's R. Eich got himself booked for a foul. Possession in this half belonged to seniors, who controlled the ball 87 percent of the time.

Springboks's best player was B. Kämpfer. However, S. Louviot made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating seniors player was without a doubt M. Hungerbühler. P. Hedeboe on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 10.
