Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 39932 at StauffAcker today. Alpha-Dragons mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. E. Ohara of Alpha-Dragons was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Aussersihl's T. Seppä tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. The referee showed Aussersihl's C. Köck the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Aussersihl had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

After 62 minutes, A. Shagin came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Aussersihl the lead. Aussersihl put themselves up 2 - 0 when C. Jäpel broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. After 84 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and C. Jäpel gave the Aussersihl supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0. Aussersihl's T. Seppä increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 86 minutes. Aussersihl claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

Aussersihl's best player was T. Durant. M. Poenaru turned in a dismal performance, however. A. Mpelesis performed admirably for Alpha-Dragons. On the other hand, L. Leuchtenberg's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 0.
