Clear skies welcomed the 5197 spectators who had made their way to Red Bull Place of Guin. Nikola Gračanin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Nikolaos Fasoulakis and David Liendo. Bull had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Buchmüller - Winkelmann, Zolliker, Niederöst, Gèle - Mecca, Rask, Bertoglio, Gorin - Di Lisi, Dübendorfer.

A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Supercharger. Lineup: Lipka - Toscano, Rodríguez Pérez, Faraon, Szilágyi - Petralia, Jansen, Salonpää, Gullstrand, Stolić - Koshnicharov.

P. Petralia dispatched a majestic long shot 19 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. After 21 minutes, Supercharger's P. Stolić made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. With 25 minutes played, O. Jansen nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The head of K. Koshnicharov connected with a corner kick after 30 minutes, and the ball ended up with O. Jansen of Supercharger who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 2. After 35 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed K. Koshnicharov to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, O. Jansen would have put Supercharger up another goal 36 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Supercharger claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

48 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as D. Gullstrand finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. By now, the players in Supercharger felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 65 minutes, the Supercharger players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. In an effort to secure the lead, Supercharger changed their tactic after 65 minutes. With 69 minutes played, Supercharger put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was R. Rodríguez Pérez. Supercharger's F. Faraon made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 75 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Bull mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 76 minutes, but T. Rask was unable to convert from short range. The home crowd was not impressed when D. Gullstrand came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 81 minutes. Supercharger were now up 0 - 6. Bull didn't give in and with 83 minutes played C. Dübendorfer was able to make the score 1 - 6 after an attack on the right. 84 minutes into the game, Supercharger worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Supercharger, with 73 percent of the ball.

Bull's top performer was clearly C. Di Lisi. C. Buchmüller was a disappointment, however. Supercharger's best player was T. Salonpää. U. Lipka turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
