Clear skies welcomed the 5073 spectators who had made their way to FcAloaha Arena. Wilfried Heidegger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Shaheen Hamdan and Miklós Toldi. Bertoglio could have put his team up another goal 83 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. 85 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by A. Roskosny from A. Rowe's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for FcAloaha, making the score 1 - 1. M. Berruto was called on to replace Bull's W. Gorin after 87 minutes following a nasty collision. FcAloaha's D. Biscarini left the field after 88 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was L. Bodineau. Possession in this half belonged to Bull, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.
