Marchand got the best of it, blocking the shot from J. Ahonzo. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Perrin from Strollers a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 37 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Due to a severely mistimed tackle, J. Ahonzo of HotStreak spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. 39 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as F. Leclerc struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Strollers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

After the game, the most discussed event will probably be the penalty given after 57 minutes that gave the visitors the 1 - 2 lead. Despite the controversy, K. Turjeman struck home the penalty, as cool as anything. A well placed corner kick from R. Otte was followed by R. Perrin's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Strollers, the score now 2 - 2. 70 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Strollers substitution. B. Pawełek came on for C. Pérez. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, İ. Eş scored for Strollers putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 79 minutes. The HotStreak coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. After 80 minutes, HotStreak used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. The visitors refused to give in and, after 80 minutes, A. Porceddu came in from the right with the intention of giving Strollers the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. After 82 minutes, the Strollers coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving R. Otte off the field. T. Puhakka took his place. With 83 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. K. Turjeman put the ball away for 3 - 4. HotStreak had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Strollers's top performer was clearly B. Pawełek. T. Puhakka turned in a dismal performance, however. T. Langenfelde performed admirably for HotStreak. However, K. Polat made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 4.
