Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Kcal. With 8 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. N. Paulin put the ball away for 0 - 1. By now, the players in TBK felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. TBK's A. Eckenfeldt had an excellent opportunity after 71 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Things were going to get worse for the visitors. N. Forberg squirmed through their central defence after 72 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 1. Kcal breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 73 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar.
