Tohtorit caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 50 minutes into the match. T. Soininen was able to finish off the move - 1 - 2. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Knights manager used a brief break in play after 50 minutes to give the players new directives. The Knights coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. Počina was marked down as the scorer. After 81 minutes Knights's T. Catoira limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Making his way up the middle 83 minutes into the match, K. Gurskiy almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert V. Kojo blocked it to keep the score level. 84 minutes into the game, K. Dijkhuizen had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came H. Moll. Possession in this half belonged to Knights, who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.
